Dear Jennifer,
I don't like bugs I don't deal with them well at all. I've never been a gardener. I don't cook enough at home anymore (I'm a professional chef and I live alone) to even have a window herb garden, it just goes to waste. I do have a lot of house plants...they are everywhere in the apartment. Most of them were rescues, plants discarded or doing poorly for others that I inherited...one is my mother in laws Christmas cactus that I now call my "all holiday" cactus because it starts blooming at Samhain and blooms through Easter or a bit later, that plant is close to 100 years old, the stalks/branches are as big around as my thumb. When it comes to house plants I do have a green thumb. Now my question is this....do houseplants count equally spiritually speaking as planting an outdoor garden? I've asked this question of others before and no one has been able to give me an answer. Thank you for your time.

I loved reading this! Yes, I certainly do believe houseplants are equally spiritual. Your care and love are felt. You nourish and love them and although you may not have the typical outdoor garden, I feel you certainly do have an indoor garden. Any house plants to me are considered an indoor garden. A garden does not have to be what is typically thought of since we all do not have the luxury of wide open spaces and lots of land.
Plants are living, breathing things that carry their own vibrational energy, just like crystals, stones, minerals and humans. I do not know the scientific oscillatory rate (vibration) of plants but they do *feel*. Not in the sense that we do but they *feel* stress as well as love. I hope this answers your question and thank you so much for writing to me.
Brightest Blessings, Jennifer
